We believe that helping to further the acknowledgement of our profession – whether through the work we carry out with our customers or through our involvement in international associations that contribute to the development of the coaching profession – is an ethical and professional duty.
Several of our coaches are or have been board members of the main trade associations in the coaching sector. Our team includes the former Chairman of ICF France, the Vice-Chairman of EMCC and the current ICF Treasurer.
Some of our team give courses at coaching schools and universities in order to help hand down the highest standards in our profession to future coaches. Praesta was instrumental in creating the first university degree in coaching in France (Paris II Assas)
In France, 3 associations – EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council), ICF (International Coach Federation) and SFCoach (Société Française de Coaching) – group together 90% of accredited coaches. Their objective is to ensure the ethical conduct and professionalism of their members.
